At the start of his career in 2006, Floyd Douglas (1982) was inspired by conventional colorful pop art and used it in works depicting urban landscapes. Floyd has evolved over the years to send bolder messages, sometimes funnier, sometimes more sinister about our relationship to money and its importance in our lives.
His technique is unique and the fruit of dozens of years of research and experience on different materials in 3 dimensions. Thanks to his eclectic use of movement in form, he manages to pass his Art smoothly, to pass on his bold statements as if they were whispered. In doing so, he rather invites his audience to listen, to reflect and finally - to respond.
